The NJ Coastal Coalition

Flooding does not stop at municipal boundaries and floodplain management knowledge and experience should be shared between communities to better protect our towns. That is why Middletown is a member of the NJ Coastal Coalition, a 501c3 organizing with the mission to build more resilient communities at the Jersey Shore by developing policies and practices that will anticipate future concerns and to create solutions to be shared by all participants.

The New Jersey Flood Institute is the research and outreach arm of the New Jersey Coastal Coalition.
