Multi-Sports Camp

This Multi-Sports Camp gives players the opportunity to experience over 10 different sports across a fun-filled week of camp. Every camp is coached by our professional and energetic coaches who are trained to encourage maximum participation, good sportsmanship, and above all - FUN! All sports equipment required for this camp will be provided by USA Sport Group. All participants will receive a FREE Dri-Fit Shirt.

AM - Amusement Park Engineering
Design your own amusement park in this super fun and interactive STEAM engineering program! Learn how to use LEGO® bricks, gears, pulleys, levers, and other building materials to create roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, and other awesome rides. Children will work together to build these models and make them move using motors! Students will build and design amusement park attractions of their very own.
PM - Sports Science
Students will be learn the science behind their favorite sports by investigating concepts like simple machines, air pressure, gravity, inertia, energy, and trajectory through sports-based games and challenges! This class is perfect for both sports and science lovers, engaging the body and mind in this interactive, competitive program.
Week of 8/11
AM - Pokemania
Students will build and explore the world of Pokémon as they create their own pokeballs, training gyms, and even their very own generation of Pokémon. Children will also learn about real world science as they learn about the habitats of the Pokémon, becoming the best Pokémon trainer ever!
PM - Story Builders
Once upon a time… your child became the author of his or her favorite stories! Each day, campers will explore the primary elements of storytelling as they design their own unique stories focused on the characters and plot lines of stories they have heard before. Maybe they will dazzle us with tales of faraway lands, or with amazing adventures of superheroes, or even through science experiments gone very, very wrong. The possibilities are endless, as students focus on writing, illustrating, imagination, and building!

AM - Mining and Building
Travel to the Nether, but watch out for those creepers! Join us as we bring Minecraft® to life including animals, creepers, and 3D Minecraft® characters. Lessons involve teamwork, critical thinking, and a whole lot of imagination.
PM - Machines and Cool Contraptions
Does your child love to invent, or is he/she a learner who breaks things apart to see what’s inside? This is LEGO® engineering STEM camp gives kids the tools to truly understand mechanical movement through building simple machines like race cars, spin art machines, roller coasters, windmills, and more! The camp will develop new design ideas and test out physics concepts.

AM - Discovering Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs, fossils, and cool discoveries! This camp is based on incredible dinos like the T-Rex and brachiosaurus. Campers will learn what it’s like to be a paleontologist and study omnivores and carnivores as they build Lego® projects involving all things dinosaurs. Play games, study dino fossils and gems with magnifying glasses, and have a blast with friends! Let's dig!
PM - Elementary Engineers - Let’s Get Moving!
Let’s get moving and learn basic engineering concepts early! Come build super-cool cars, catapults, or windmills that use gears, axles, pulleys, and motors. Once built, students will have time to experiment and modify their projects in order to showcase their creative side. This program is designed for children who love to build, create, and invent, all while using their imagination!

Gone Running Summer Training: July 8 - August 14
Join our competitive training program for high school, middle school and elementary age runners who want to prepare for the upcoming Cross Country season in September.
High school and middle school participants will prepare for the school team/Jr Olympics fall season competitions. The elementary school group (grades 2-6) will focus on developing speed and endurance for enjoyment, Jr. Olympic training or to prepare for team sports competition this fall.

Beat the heat with this summer track and field camp set on the partially shaded, track, field and running trails behind Thompson Middle School. This camp is designed to offer two separate training platforms: running and field events. This will be a fun training and learning experience for the boys and girls as they run, jump and throw all week. This action packed program is taught in a relaxed, positive and supportive environment. The activities will focus on technique, form, nutrition, competition strategies and personal motivation.

This camp is designed to offer multiple fitness activities and games that both challenge and engage your children. This action packed program is taught in a relaxed, positive and supportive environment. The activities will focus on fitness,fun ,nutrition,competition strategies and personal motivation.

NASA: STEM Explorers - Developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Research Challenge (NASA OPSPARC). Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem here on Earth?

BRIXology – Amazing Architecture - Working with Lego Master builders we set our sights on designing structures that work. Towers need elevators and rocket capsules need parachutes. In this session we explore all things structural. From bridges to carnival rides and towers to mars landers. We build it, test it and then expand our creations. This session is fun for all who like to tinker. Children will receive a take home activity each day. Let the building begin!

Secret Agent Lab: Spies Like Us - Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks in this hands-on view of the science that spies use. Go on secret missions to find enemy spies and receive your very own pair of spyglasses. From decoding messages to secret safes and lasers, you will have the opportunity to check out spy equipment, and discover the technological tools of detection!

Mad Machines & Jr. Engineers - Whether you enjoy building or destroying structures, you’ll love this camp! Work with simple machines such as pulleys, wedges, screws, and levers, to build your own catapults! Experiment with tessellation with triangles and cubes. Exercise your ability to work with others while constructing a geodesic dome big enough for everyone to fit inside! Let the building begin!

Half Day 9am - 12pm
BRIXology – Mechanical Marvels - These classes were developed with Lego master builders! Campers will build machines that GO! From race cars to boats, and drawing machines to insects. Our creations are on the move. Each day we will explore a different engineering concept and put what we learn to the test. Children will receive a take home activity each day. Let the building begin!

NASA: Journey to Outer Space - Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena. Create a comet and build your own Mad Science rocket and participate in a real NASA style rocket launch! Campers will take home additional NASA activities to complete at home! Mad Science is the ONLY organization licensed by NASA to use these activities for Summer Camps!

Lights, Circuits
How does that work? Lights! Wait, how do those motors work? Using circuits to create mini drones, motorized toothbrushes, fans, and more. Kids will explore and create their own circuit projects.
