Summer Recreation 2020

Best Days of Summer
The Department of Recreation is pleased to announce our annual Summer Recreation Program! Camps start the week of June 29th and are designed for children age 3 through grade 9. 

Programs are based upon the child’s grade in which they are entering Fall 2020.

 

Registration will begin Monday, March 2nd at 9:00am

Register online through our Community Pass website or in person at Poricy Park (345 Oak Hill Road, Red Bank). Office registration hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Non-resident registration will begin March 9th at 9:00am.

  • 10% Early Bird Discount (register before April 15th)
  • Sibling Discounts (applies for siblings attending the same week at the same location): second child 5%, third child 10%, fourth child 15%
  • Discounts do not apply for any trips, t-shirt purchases, Marine Science camp, or Snapology camps
  • Late Registration Fee (register after May 30th): $5.00 per week of camp (does not apply to aftercare)
Registration remains open as long as spots are available, after which a wait list will be generated. Registrations close weekly; all participants must be registered by Wednesday at 12:00pm the week before (i.e. Week 2 Camp registration closes 7/1). 

There are no refunds for any summer recreation program after May 15th. Please choose carefully!

Traditional Summer Camp
Children are grouped by grade level and develop their minds and bodies through arts and crafts, sports, games, contests, and more. Weekly trips and visiting entertainers every Wednesday.
Croydon Hall Grades K-6
Science and Nature Camp
Each week of camp focuses on a different science theme. Days are filled with hands-on science investigations, experiments, stories, crafts, and nature walks.
Poricy Park Age 3 - Grade 6
Pioneers Preschool Camp
A half-day program of fun activities such as games, stories, arts and crafts, music, and more. Visiting entertainers every Tuesday.
Tonya Keller Community Center Ages 3-5
Trail Blazers Trip Camp
Program for teens to go on a unique trip every day. Trips begin and end at the TKCC. See schedule for full list of locations.
Tonya Keller Community Center Grades 7-9
Specialty Camps
We outsource to Marine Science and Snapology for even more summer fun!
