Middletown Township Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Celebration

Please join us for the official Township Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting at the Middletown Arts Center (36 Church Street) on Sunday, December 2nd at 5:00 PM.

There will be crafts, an art exhibition, carols, cartooning, a 50/50 raffle, and a visit from Santa Claus (bring your own camera for photos!). The festivities will also include an ice sculpturist, a high school band & chorus performance, hot cocoa and cookies.

Comcast Newsmakers Port Monmouth Flood Control Project

Mayor Settembrino sat down with Jill Horner of Comcast Newsmakers to discuss the Port Monmouth Flood Control Project at the New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City this month.

On Thursday, November 15th, Mayor Kevin Settembrino was interviewed by Jill Horner of Comcast Newsmakers about the Port Monmouth Flood Control Project.

Poricy Park Conservancy Holds Annual
Colonial Christmas Event

Committeeman Tony Perry and his wife Alannah visited with Santa to get started on their Christmas wish list!

The Poricy Park Conservancy held its annual Colonial Christmas event last weekend. The Christmas festivities were held at the Historic Murray Farmhouse at Poricy Park and included horse and wagon rides, music, refreshments, and visits with Santa! Committeeman Tony Perry stopped by to join in the merriment of the season and chat with local residents. Please mark your calendar for next year's event which will be the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Mayor to Hold Open Office Hours at the MTPL on Monday, 12/3

Mayor Kevin M Settembrino will hold Open Office Hours from 4:30PM to 6:30PM in the lobby of the Middletown Township Public Library (55 New Monmouth Road) on Monday, December 3rd. Ideal Beach Community Association Holds
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Ideal Beach Community Association held its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 25th at Roosevelt Park on Port Monmouth Road. The East Keansburg Fire Department and North Middletown First Aid were honored for their continued dedication to the Ideal Beach community. Township Committee members Pat Snell and Rick Hibell joined the fun while Girl and Boy Scouts added to the holiday spirit with caroling. Stop by to see the beautiful tree!

Highway 36 Southbound Jug Handle at Main Street in Belford Closed for Milling and Paving on 12/3

On Monday, December 3rd, the Highway 36 Southbound Belford jug handle on Main Street will be closed for milling and paving by the County between the hours of 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, weather dependent.

Church Street Southbound Lane Closure Through Friday, 12/14

The southbound side of Church Street (in the vicinity of the Middletown Train Station) will be closed until approximately Friday, December 14^th by Kiely Construction for improvement of gas lines. Detours will be in place.

New Jersey Turnpike Authority Begins GSP Interchange 109 Construction Project

On November 1, 2018, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) began a construction project to make improvements to Garden State Parkway Interchange 109 at Newman Springs Road (C.R. 520) in the Lincroft section of Middletown. Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan alternate routes if possible.
