On Monday, Mayor Tony Perry and Monmouth County Commissioner Director Tom Arnone hosted their annual Small Business Roundtable at our new Town Hall. They provided advice and information to all the small-business owners in attendance, with the help of guest speakers Monmouth County Commissioner Nick DiRocco, Director of the Monmouth and Ocean County Small Business Development Center Dr. Jackeline Mejias-Fuertes, and Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jennifer Eckhoff.

Wednesday, May 11th was National School Nurse Day! As a token of appreciation, Mayor Tony Perry and the Middletown Board of Education (BOE) provided refreshments to school nurses in the Middletown Township Public School (MTPS) District. Members of the MTPS administration also attended to show their support.
Mayor Perry presented each nurse with a certificate of appreciation, signed a proclamation recognizing this special occasion in Middletown, and thanked them for all their work toward ensuring the health and wellbeing of our youngest residents, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nurses are the heartbeats of our schools, and we are honored to recognize them today and everyday! Thank you to the wonderful school nurses of Middletown!

The Middletown Municipal Alliance's (MMA) Adult Mental Health First Aid Training on Saturday, June 11th will teach volunteers how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. There are only a few spots left in Recreation's Daddy-Daughter Luau on Friday, June 17th! Participants are headed to Ideal Beach this year for a fun, luau-themed night with a DJ and games!
