Host your birthday at the Poricy Park Nature Center! Choose from the following instructor-led themes. We customize to your needs and wishes. Please note some themes are seasonal.
- Wild Kratts - Pick two animals and our instructor will customize activities to explore their "creature powers." Includes craft, games and a hike.
- Pond Netting - Be introduced to creatures found in our pond by using nets to catch them! Hands-on learning lets kids touch some cool things. Includes craft.
- Fossil Hunting - Children will be introduced to fossils through games and crafts in the classroom before heading down to the brook for some in-water sifting and hunting. The party returns back to the Nature Center afterwards for party room time.
- Frogs & Turtles - Play games and make a frog home craft before visits from a live tadpole and our resident turtles. Turtles will come out of the tanks for kids to touch and learn. A scavenger hunt hike down to the pond to see wild turtles and frogs included.
Pricing starts at $315.00 for the first 15 children. $8.00 per additional child, with a max of about 25. This includes any siblings also attending. Party includes basic, non-themed paper goods (tablecloths, plates, napkins, forks, etc.), 90 minutes of instructor-led party, and then 30 minutes of party room time with your own food.
