Despite the rain, residents turned out big time to support the Middletown Township Police Department (MTPD) and PBA Local 124 on Tuesday, August 6th to recognize the Township's 7th National Night Out. The event was successfully moved indoors to the bubble at Middletown High School North. National Night Out is an annual police-community building campaign that is celebrated across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide to promote neighborhood safety and unity. Township Committee members, County law enforcement, and local businesses and organizations were able to connect with the community while residents of all ages enjoyed fun activities like inflatables and games, K9 photos, checking out police vehicles and drone units, face painting, playing with the puppies, kittens, and a miniature horse, as well as grabbing a bite from the food trucks. Thank you to the MTPD for doing a fantastic job with this fun, family-friendly event year after year! Click HERE to see more photos from the event.
