Port Monmouth Floodgate Closed and In Spring Mode Due to Impending Storm

Port Monmouth Floodgate

The Port Monmouth facility was closed today at 3:00 PM to ensure the interior area doesn’t reach an elevation +3.5 or more with the anticipated snow/rain over the region. The facility was placed in Spring Mode to allow the gates to open during low tide cycles so the water can move in and out of the basin to assist the eco system.
