Line the Streets and Show Your Support for Veterans at 65th Annual Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, 11/6 at 1 PM

The parade's approximately 2.3-mile route will begin at Bayview Elementary School, travel down Leonardville Road and proceed through Campbell’s Junction, turn right at Cherry Tree Farm Road, turn right onto Wilson Avenue, and turn right at Garrett Place, ending at the rear entrance to VFW Post 2179.
The theme of this year’s parade is "For Those Who Fought for Our Tomorrows". Refreshments will be served at VFW Post 2179 (1 Veterans Lane, Port Monmouth) immediately following the parade.
The reviewing stand will be located at the Township's future veterans housing location across the street from Carvel on Leonardville Road in Belford.

Last weekend, members and leaders of Cub Scout Pack 122, sponsored by New Monmouth Elementary School, unveiled its new "Little Free Pantry" across the street from the Middletown Reformed Church (121 Kings Highway). The pack partnered with the church to create this wonderful opportunity for residents to donate and/or take nonperishables and supplies.
The following quote is painted on the pantry: "Give what you can. Take what you need." We encourage everyone to check it out and follow this motto!

Voters who sign up for the Monmouth County BallotTrax will receive alerts of when their ballots are received by the County Board of Elections for counting. Register for MAC's School's Out Day Camp Next Week (Monday, 11/7 - Friday, 11/11)The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) will be opening its School's Out Day Camp from Monday, November 7th to Friday, November 11th! The MAC offers full and half-day camp programming for elementary school students when Middletown's public school district is closed. Young students are invited to fill their day off from school with crafting, doodling, and more creative activities with Miss Fish, the Doodle Dude & friends!
There are morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions. A half-day costs $38 and a full-day costs $75. Children may be dropped off at the MAC Annex, which is located at the Middletown Reformed Church (121 Kings Highway), any time after 8:30 AM and must be picked up by 3:30 PM.

Free Paper Shredding Event at Middletown High School North on Saturday, 11/12 from 9 - 1 PM

Monmouth County will be holding its annual paper shredding event in Middletown on Saturday, November 12th from 9 AM - 1 PM at Middletown High School North.Middletown residents may shred up to 100 pounds, which is equivalent to four office paper boxes or four large sized trash bags. All paper will be shredded on location in the mobile truck, and the event will end either once the mobile truck is full or at its scheduled end time. Large binder clips must be removed from documents, but staples and paper clips can remain.
