The New Monmouth Library is our main library. It is not part of the Monmouth County Library system. The Middletown Township Public Library exists for the purpose of providing materials that are necessary for the education and entertainment of the people of Middletown Township.

In addition the Zoning Board may hear and decide requests for interpretation of the zoning map and zoning regulations as well as other powers as outlined in the state Municipal Land Use Law.
