The Commission provides architectural review of structures within Historic Districts and identifies and records all buildings, sites, places and structures of significant historical or architectural value and aids the public in understanding their worth. They also help preserve historic cemeteries scattered throughout the township.

    Get out and stretch your legs! Great for all ages. Each week a new topic will be discussed along the trails at Poricy Park. This week we are trying a nature photography lesson by looking for the letters of our name in branches. An iPad will be provided for each registered participant, but you're welcome to bring your own device if you'd like to save your pictures. Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome if space permits (no cash accepted). All children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine, dress for the weather.
