Before the Ideal Beach Party on July 27th, Township officials and employees, Ideal Beach Community Association members, and executives from T&M Associates gathered at the new pedestrian walkway and deck for a ribbon cutting ceremony. The structured pedestrian access to the beach is part of the dune restoration project. There is also an improved parking lot. Stop by the beach to check it out!

Middletown Township Police Department Holds First National Night Out: Tuesday August 1st

The Middletown Township Police Department will be holding its first National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1^stfrom 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event will be held outdoors at police headquarters and in the police lobby and court room, located at 1 Kings Highway.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. This nationwide movement brings together communities and generates support for local anti-crime efforts by asking residents to spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.

“This event is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, and is an informal way to meet members of the department,” said Middletown Township Police Chief Craig Weber. “We encourage everyone to come out to show how strong we are as a community and that we’ll continue to fight against crime together to keep our neighborhoods safe.”

Middletown Township Public Library Logo Contest: Enter Now!

As the Middletown Township Public Library nears its 100th anniversary, the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the Library Logo Contest. The contest is open to all Middletown students in grades 6 -12. Students are asked to design a new logo that symbolizes the library's mission and articulates the true identity of the library as a community center offering opportunities for both education and entertainment.
