Miriam Baresh from Primerica Financial Services will be leading the program and discussing important financial topics, such as Rule of 72, Theory of Decreasing Responsibility, deferring taxes, and buying the right type of life insurance. Join one of the MTPL's "Read to a Dog" sessions on either Thursday, January 11th or Monday, January 15th! Read to a Dog is a great way to improve the literacy skills of children. It encourages children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener in our furry friends. Independent readers in grades K-5 will read to a certified therapy dog for 5-10 minutes. The therapy dogs and their owners are members of Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Children can bring a book they'd like to read to a dog or pick one out at the library.
