Recreation Director Janet Dellett and Mayor Tony Perry proudly present a check from the Mayor's Challenge to local non-profit Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer.

|
After the promotions, Mayor Tony Perry and Middletown Recreation Director Janet Dellett presented Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer with a check for $1,706 from the money raised through registrations for the Township's third annual Mayor's Challenge. This was our most successful turnout yet! People were also given the opportunity to donate without registering for any of the races, which resulted in an additional $1,390! We are both grateful and honored to donate all the proceeds from our event to this wonderful Middletown-based charity.
The Township Committee, alongside Middletown Township Fire Department chiefs, also presented the first Making a Difference Award to the Concordia family for their first annual Middletown Luminaria Night. The family of five sold luminaria kits throughout the Township and raised nearly $11,500 that was divided between our all-volunteer fire department and Middletown Helps its Own. Thank you to the Concordia family for spearheading this beautiful initiative during the holiday season and igniting our community spirit.
