Garbage and Recycling Public Forum_news

Middletown Township’s garbage and recycling contract will be ending this year and our contract will be going out to bid this summer and become effective on January 1, 2023. Garbage, recycling & bulk collection is one of the most expensive, yet essential services provided by the Township.

The current contract was more than $20 million over 5 years. Due to current economic and market realities today, the cost for the next contract is expected to increase. To help us better determine your garbage, recycling & bulk collection needs,

we encourage you visit to take our 3-minute survey.

Middletown Township will also be hosting a public forum on Wednesday, March 16th at the Middletown Township Public Library

(55 New Monmouth Road) from 6-8 PM. The initial survey data will be discussed at the meeting.

Input is requested by Saturday, March 12th. Your feedback is valuable and we appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey.

Complete the 3-minute survey.
