The troop worked through our
New Jersey Clean Communities Mini Grant Program to install the two signs, as part of their efforts toward a Journey Badge. The group of seven, led by Stacy Slater, fundraised by participating in a beach cleanup at Leonardo Beach in July. Inspired by the 250 pounds of trash they recovered, the new signs read "Leave only footprints of love and kindness wherever you go."
After six months of hard work, the girls accomplished their goal of earning their Journey Badges and adding these two wonderful signs! Thank you Girl Scout Troop 127 for making a positive impact in our community!
