[ARCHIVED] Middletown Township Committee to Host Virtual Organization Day on Sunday, 1/3

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee will hold its annual reorganization meeting virtually via Webex Event Center at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

If you will be participating remotely, you can do so by clicking this event link. To call in to the meeting, dial 1-408-418-9388. The event access code is 179 125 2192  followed by #. Enter reorg2021 if a passcode is required.

On the agenda will be the swearing in of the 2021 Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Under the Township’s form of government, the Township Committee designates two members to serve as mayor and deputy mayor for a one-year term. Both will be delivering speeches. 

In addition, Committeewoman Patricia Snell will accept the Oath of Office to serve her second consecutive term. Ryan Clarke will accept the Oath of Office to serve his first term. The term for each committee member is three years.

Prior to the Organization Day Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. If residents are not able to view the meeting live, the recording will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
