MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township today announced its partnership with the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce (EMACC) to help provide local businesses with an effective channel to network, exchange ideas and market themselves.

On Wednesday, May 8th Mayor Tony Perry, the Middletown Township Committee and Freeholder Director Tom Arnone hosted a Small Business Roundtable at the Middletown Arts Center. “We wanted to gather local business owners during National Small Business Week to give them the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Township and County officials to discuss initiatives and improvements to further enhance our relationship,” said Mayor Perry. “Small businesses are the backbone of our town’s economy and this partnership with EMACC will better enable them to have a wealth of resources to help them grow and reach their full potential.”

EMACC has a 90-year history and provides access to over 180 business members with experience and connections to share. The Chamber serves the interest of member businesses through skill-building seminars, networking events, legislative advocacy, targeted promotional support and referral services. “We are thrilled to be working with Middletown as the largest municipality in Monmouth County and home to such a diverse and thriving business community,” said Jennifer Eckhoff, Executive Director of EMACC. “We look forward to assisting Chamber members in Middletown through our creative initiatives and events to help strengthen their businesses and enrich the community.”
