Middletown Township is warning residents about coastal flooding through tomorrow morning, especially at times of high tide. The first high tide was at 8:47 a.m. and the next high tide will be at 9:01 p.m. The first high tide tomorrow will be at 9:30 a.m. and the next high tide at 9:43 p.m.

Please take all necessary precautions:
- Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Move vehicles to higher ground.
- Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. Water may be deeper than you think. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs.

As a reminder, you should never go near a downed power line even if you think it is no longer carrying electricity. Extra caution should be used in areas where downed lines are tangled in trees or other debris.
