Road crews will be plowing throughout the night. The Township is using more than 150 pieces of equipment to clear roads. A statewide State of Emergency remains in effect. The snow is predicted to continue to fall until early tomorrow morning. Residents are encouraged to limit all travel. During the storm, the Township’s priority is to keep primary roads open and clear a path for emergency vehicles. Storm updates regarding closures and cancellations will be posted to the Township website.
Please assist the Public Works Department in clearing snow from roadways by moving cars off the streets wherever possible. Also, please do not plow or push snow back onto already cleared streets. Take note that already plowed roads may become covered again due to drifting snow. Thank you for your patience and your cooperation as we work continuously through this storm.
High tides of concern will be 11:28 p.m. tonight and 12:06 p.m. tomorrow. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters.
