[ARCHIVED] Fall-Themed Horse & Carriage Ride Through Middletown's Village Historic District on Friday, 10/13

Middletown Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride on 10/13/17

Middletown’s last guided tour in 2017 of the Village Historic District will take place on Friday, October 13th. Instead of walking, tourists will be guided on a horse-drawn carriage ride and visit sites that are among the oldest permanent English and Dutch settlements in New Jersey.

Tours will depart from the Middletown Arts Center, located at 36 Church Street. The tour is about 2 miles long and lasts about 45 minutes. In addition to the tour, there will also be a variety of autumnal activities set up on the MAC’s Great Lawn, including colonial characters making butter, as well as pumpkins and apple cider to get you into the fall spirit.

Four tours will be running on the hour from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The last tour will leave at 8:00 PM. We ask that you please arrive 30 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin.

Register now for this exciting fall carriage ride. Click on “Browse Activities,” select the Fall 2017 season program catalog, and then choose your tour time – space is extremely limited and is dependent upon the seats in the carriage. The cost is $5 person. The maximum capacity for each tour is 10 people. If you are unable to register for a carriage ride, be sure to still come for the festivities. We hope to see you at this unique and memorable event!
