MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The meeting will also be made available to view and listen to through CivicClerk. Previous Township Committee Meetings were available to view and listen to through Cisco Webex. Going forward, all Township Committee Meetings will be accessible via CivicClerk.
The meeting will be made available to watch or listen to by visiting middletownnj.portal.civicclerk.com. Once you visit the link, please scroll to the information for the Tuesday, January 21st meeting. Once the meeting begins, the event will say "LIVE" and a camera icon will appear. You can click on the camera icon to stream the meeting. After the meeting ends, a recording of it will be available.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The January 21st meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda item. Members of the public may comment only on this topic:
- 2025-3447 Ordinance Implementing Voter-Approved Increase To The Annual Collection Rate Of The Middletown Open Space, Recreation, Floodplain Protection, Farmland And Historic Preservation Trust Fund
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public
On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics will be extending their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
