MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The meeting will also be made available to view and listen to through CivicClerk at middletownnj.portal.civicclerk.com.
Once you visit the link, please scroll to the information for the Monday, September 15th meeting. Once the meeting begins, the event will say "LIVE" and a camera icon will appear. You can click on the camera icon to stream the meeting. After the meeting ends, a recording of it will be available.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The September 15th meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:
- 0225-3477 Ordinance Authorizing Establishment Of Government Energy Aggregation Program Within The Township Of Middletown
- 2025-3478 Ordinance Amending § 240-23 Of The Township Code Establishing Special Service Charge For Body Worn Camera Footage Requests
- 2025-3479 Ordinance Amending § 540-519 Of The Township Code Governing The Outdoor Display Of Goods
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics extends their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
