On June 16th, 2025 at 7:00PM, the Township Committee of the Township of Middletown will conduct a public meeting at a regularly scheduled Township Committee meeting. The Township Committee will discuss the contents of the application to be submitted to the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners for funding through the Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program for the Kunkel Park Site Improvements Project.
The proposed project will support the redevelopment of the Bill Kunkel Memorial Park, located at Brent Avenue & Highland Avenue, Middletown, NJ 07737; Block 423, Lot 2.01. These improvements will include resurfacing and re-striping existing tennis and pickleball courts, constructing a new natural grass baseball field, building new playground areas, and installing additional park amenities like benches and a storage shed.
The meeting will be held in the Courtroom at Town Hall, 1 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ 07748. The public is invited to attend and participate.
