Details of Police Activities and Arrest Information

The following media release contains information pertaining to arrests and police activities for the Middletown Twp. Police Department during the time period of August 1, 2023 through August 31, 2023.

During the period of August 1, 2023 through August 31, 2023, the Middletown Twp. Police Department responded to 4,201 calls for service, including 364 EMS calls, 15 Fire Calls, 214 burglar alarms, and 166 motor vehicle crashes. 

Police officers arrested 36 individuals, including 6 for outstanding bench warrants and 7 for domestic violence. Arrests are as follows:

Edwin Smith, age 51, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Elzbieta Banel for driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving. Smith was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Rajiv Bryant, age 32, from Emeryville, California, was arrested by Officer Shane Hall for possession of prohibited weapons and unlawful possession of a weapon. Bryant was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Francoise Simeus, age 41, from Bradley Beach, was arrested by Officer Timothy Cairns for shoplifting. Simeus was processed and released.

Wade Trainor, age 27, from Boonton, was arrested by Officer Sean Barry for endangering the welfare of a child, serving alcohol to underage, and driving under the influence. Wade was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Nathan Benbrook, age 18, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Dominick Librie for driving under the influence. Benbrook was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Sheila Davis, age 54, from Perth Amboy, was arrested by Officer Shane Hall for operating a motor vehicle during a suspension. Davis was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Carol Acciani, age 77, from Colonia, was arrested by Officer Salvatore Albanese for driving under the influence. Acciani was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Joshus Osmond, age 18, from Middletown, was arrested by Detective Janine Kennedy for criminal mischief. Osmond was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Kelly Siegfried, age 59, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Eric Van Schaack for driving under the influence. Siegfriend was processed and released on her own recognizance.

Corey Thomson, age 26, from Union Beach, was arrested by Officer Kenneth Ross for driving under the influence. Thomson was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Andriy Husak, age 52, from Metuchen, was arrested by Officer Nicholas Manochio for driving under the influence and driving with an open container of alcohol. Husak was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Deiver Lopez, age 24, from Elizabeth, was arrested by Officer Thomas Stone for a contempt of court warrant and an open container of alcohol. Lopez was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Guastavo Rodriguez, age 29, from Keansburg, was arrested by Detective Ryan Pigott for a contempt of court warrant. Rodriguez was processed and released to Keansburg Police Department.

Christopher Forman, age 47, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer William Perez for terroristic threats and possession of unlawful weapons. Forman was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

Douglas Horan, age 43, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer Raymond Sofield for possession of unlawful weapons. Horan was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Richard Fetherston, age 43, from Middletown, was arrested by Sergeant Frank Mazza for driving under the influence. Fetherston was processed and released.

Casey Herman, age 21, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Salvatore Albanese for defiant trespass. Herman was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Gregory Perry, age 53, from Paterson, was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein for shoplifting. Perry was processed and released to Morris County Correctional Facility.

Michelle Cordeiro, age 48, from Cliffwood, was arrested by Officer Thomas Stone for terroristic threats. Cordeiro was processed and released to Aberdeen Police Department.

Casey Herman, age 21, from Hazlet, was arrested by Officer Chad Bacek for a contempt of court warrant. Herman was processed and released to Tinton Falls Police Department.

Jamie Reynolds, age 38, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer William Perez for a contempt of court warrant. Reynolds was processed and released on her own recognizance. 

Walter Palczewski, age 23, from Keansburg, was arrested by Detective Ryan Pigott for contempt of court warrants. Palczewski was processed and released after posting bail.

A person that has been arrested or charged with an offense is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Additionally, except in specific circumstances, arrest and complaint information and names of those charged may be released.
