2018 CDBG Annual Action Plan

Public Notice is hereby given that the Township of Middletown Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will conduct a public meeting on December 14, 2017 to solicit public comment regarding the Township’s Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan (AAP), Fiscal Year 2018 (January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018).  The public meeting will be conducted at 7:00PM in the main courtroom at the Township of Middletown Municipal Complex, 1 Kings Highway, Middletown, New Jersey 07748.  This facility is handicap accessible and handicap accessible parking spaces are provided.  If special accommodations are needed, please call the Community Development Office at (732) 615-2281.


The 2018 Action Plan will be available for citizen review and comment on November 29, 2017, at the Middletown Township Department of Planning and Community Development, 3 Penelope Lane, Middletown, NJ, between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00PM.  The Township of Middletown anticipates receiving and utilizing $200,000 from the Federal CDBG program for housing and non-housing activities, and anticipates $20,000 in program income. 


Middletown Township’s proposed 2018 AAP includes the following activities:

The proposed AAP/CP will be available for review and comment until December 28, 2017.  Any concerned Township citizen may comment upon said proposed AAP at the public meeting, or in writing to the Department of Planning and Community Development until December 28, 2017.
