Administration

The Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township and the Director of Public Safety. The Township Committee appoints the Township Administrator. He is responsible for carrying out the Committee’s decisions and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
The Administrator:
  • Directs and supervises all department directors
  • Oversees all employee contracts and negotiations
  • Recommends to the Township Committee such measures as may appear necessary or desirable for the purpose of improving the efficiency and the economy of the township
  • Reviews the administration and operation of each department
