Tax Payment Guidelines

For efficient tax payment handling, please follow these guidelines:

Pay Taxes Online:
Click here to pay your taxes online using a credit or debit card. Your block and lot information and available funds are required for this transaction.

Pay Taxes by Mail:
Make checks payable to and mail to:

Note:Please address your envelope to the attention of the Tax Collector using the full zip code plus 4 (07748-2594).

Always include the appropriate dated stub or the entire bill with your payment. Block and lot numbers should be put in the memo area of your check. If you require a receipt, enclose the full bill with the numbered stubs and a self-addressed stamped envelope.


Pay Taxes in Person:
Bring your tax payment to the Tax Department’s tax payment window, during business hours. Window business hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays and the Friday following Thanksgiving. After 4 p.m., please use the night drop box located by the front door of the Johnson-Gill Annex.
