Nor'easter expected Wed Nov. 7

This is a message from Middletown Office of Emergency Management.  The National Weather Service reports that a Nor’easter is expected to impact our area on Wednesday, November 7^th. Due to compromised flood control features such as dunes, Middletown Township has issued a mandatory evacuation order from Keansburg to Atlantic Highlands from Route 36 to the bay. We urge that you leave by 3:00 pm on Wednesday at the latest. High winds will likely cause a problem with flying debris and downed wires; as a result power loss could occur again township wide.
