Family Activities All Day Long!

- Circus - Take the little ones to the circus at 1p.m., 2:15p.m. & 3:30 p.m.
- Craft Fair - Peruse homemade wares and get a head start on your holiday shopping.
- Exhibits include Middletown Emergency Management, the Middletown Historical Society, Middletown Library, Middletown Recycling and Public Works, the township’s Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Poricy Park, the Middletown Arts Center and various Parks & Recreation facilities
- Food Court - Bring your appetite and enjoy tasty festival fare including sausage sandwiches, fried Oreos, pizza and butterfly fries.
- Games - Let the kids try their hand at sand art, rock climbing, mini-golf, classic carnival games and much more
- Granny’s Attic - Visit the Senior Center for an old-fashioned flea market.
- Hayride - Tour Middletown Day with a free hayride.
- Petting Zoo - Spend a little time feeding friendly animals. Pony rides also available.
- Support the Troops
Sign a special banner that we’ll send to our adopted unit in Iraq along with supplies donated at Middletown Day. Click here for a full list of items to donated. Donated items can be left at the parking lot entrances or on Middletown Day grounds in desingated locations.
- Classic Car Show
A car show will be held rain or shine. Vehicles that have been restored to their original condition as well as those that have been artfully modified are welcome. Trophies are awarded in several categories. Call (732) 615-2260 to register. The show is located in the parking lot in front of the Senior Center.
- Demonstrations & Safety Lessons - Middletown’s First Responders are redy to educate and entertain.
The Fire Department will offer free safety lessons in the fire safety trailer. They will also demonstrate repelling and confined space rescue techniques throughout the day.
The Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau will offer hands-on activities used in Rude Awakening, a drug and alcohol awareness program. Activities include an obstacle course on which residents wearing DWI Fatal Vision Goggles drive golf carts to simulate alcohol-impaired driving.
- Middletown’s First Aiders will demonstrate how they perform extrications using the jaws of life.
