Leaf Collection Guidelines
Leaves are collected curbside twice annually in the months of March and April (Spring collection) and again in November and December (Fall collection).

Leaves can be dropped off free of charge by residents at the Kanes Lane Recycling Center during business hours, seven days a week, from November 1, 2006 until June 1, 2007.  Landscapers & Contractors, with a valid Middletown Township Contractor Permit, may also bring leaves to the Kanes Lane Recycling Center, until June 1, free of charge.

Please Note:

  • Grass clippings are not accepted curbside or at the Kanes Lane Recycling Center.
  • Do not mix brush, branches, or seed pods with leaves.
  • Place leaf piles in neat rows at the curb, not in the road.
  • Bagged leaves will not be collected curbside, but will be accepted at the Kanes Lane Recycling Center during regular recycling hours. Residents must open bags and deposit leaves into the area provided.
Residents should make every effort to have leaves, brush, and/or logs placed curbside by the date scheduled for their zone. Public works will not pick up material that does not meet the above guidelines and will not make call-backs.
