About Middletown

The Municipal Court Administrator collects monies owed for criminal & traffic violations.

Traffic Summons can be paid online at www.njmcdirect.com. Checks and money orders are accepted at the court office. In addition to paying motor vehicle summons through MCDIRECT, the public can now make Time Payments, and inquire about the balance of fines and costs online. The site also offers a direct link to the Motor Vehicle Commission enabling users to pay MVC fees and surcharges directly and allows them to re-establish driving privileges that may have been suspended. Additionally, users can now access MCDIRECT to run a statewide check by license plate number, to see if they have outstanding MV tickets in any Municipal Court in New Jersey.

The Court Administrator is responsible for scheduling court dates and affidavit available to persons unable to appear in court.

A detailed Complaint Form is available to anyone who wishes to file a criminal or traffic complaint. All complaints filed are entered in the State System which is accessible throughout the State of New Jersey by any Municipal Court Office.

To be married before the Judge, contact the Municipal Court Administrator's Office. Applications for a Marriage License are available in the Township's Health Department.
