Open Recreation
The TKCC offers an Open Recreation program available to all Middletown Township residents. This is an after school and Saturdays (one Saturday per month) program where your children can do homework or play while being supervised by our staff. We provide a calendar full of organized games and activities which your child can participate in. Open Recreation is divided into two group times: Juniors and Teens. Juniors are for children in Grades 1 thru 6. Teens are considered children in Grades 7 thru 12. We also have Community Nights where we invite community members and their families to participate in schedule activities. We have set rules all children must abide by and agree to before participating in our programs. Registration is free and easy. Stop by our facility for a tour and to fill out the forms!
Junior Hours:
Tuesday-Friday, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Teen Hours:
Monday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday, 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Community Garden & Farmer’s Market - Garden Raising 5/19/12
We have built a community garden! Thanks to the funding from the Neighborhood Preservation Program, we were able to build a garden. The garden consists of 19 raised garden beds holding an array of plants, including fruits, vegetables and herbs. The garden is cared for by the children and families of the TKCC. For more information or to volunteer and get involved, stop by the center or call the number above.
