Committeeman Anthony P. Fiore
Committeeman Anthony P. Fiore has been serving on the Township Committee since 2009. He served as Mayor in 2011 and 2012, Deputy Mayor in 2010 and on the Middletown Planning Board from 2006 through 2009.
Committeeman Fiore has been involved in a number of boards and commissions through his tenure including:
- Chairman of the Middletown 10th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial
- Chairman of the Middletown Day Committee 2012 and 2013
- Member of the Middletown Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliance
- Member of the Middletown Township and Board of Education Shared Services Committee
As Mayor in 2012, Committeeman Fiore founded and currently chairs the Middletown Disaster Relief Fund, a private 501(c)3 dedicated to helping Middletown residents severely affected by Superstorm Sandy rebuild their homes. To date, the fund has raised over $750,000 for Middletown residents to assist in the rebuilding process.
Mr. Fiore is a member of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities League Conference Resolutions Committee.
Mr. Fiore is employed as a Senior Vice-President with Prudential Investments, a division of Prudential Financial. He is a certified retirement and pension specialist and holds various industry designations such as the Professional Plan Consultant (PPC) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). He is licensed by the National Association for Securities Dealers (NASD).
Mr. Fiore holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Rutgers University. He is an alumnus of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society. Fiore, his wife, Courtney have two young daughters, Allessandra and Julianna.
