Environmental Commission
The Environmental Commission is an advisory body that focuses on the protection, development or use of natural resources including water resources, located within the territorial limits of Middletown Township. The Environmental Commission reviews all planning and zoning board applications for any environmental concerns. They also undertake special projects funded largely by matching grants from the state Department of Environmental Protection.
Residents are appointed to the commission by the Township Committee. One member is a member of the Planning Board. The term of office is a three-year term. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 7p.m. in the Conference Room at Town Hall, 1 Kings Highway. Call 732-615-2014 for more information.
