Coastal Evacuation Routes
The Middletown Office of Emergency Management has developed several coastal evacuation routes listed below to safely lead Bayshore residents inland to higher ground.
Square white and blue signs are posted on roadways throughout Middletown to assist coastal residents and visitors in finding safer locations during emergencies including hurricanes. These routes are considered the safest way to travel away from areas near the Raritan Bay and Navesink River inland or to higher ground.
Residents are encouraged to learn the evacuation route for their area. For more information contact Emergency Management at (732) 615-2129.
