There are more than two dozen boards, commissions and committees in Middletown Township. Board members are volunteers.
Board members are appointed by the Middletown Township Committee. Appointments are made annually at the Township’s Organization Day Meeting in January. Terms on the Boards and Commissions vary from 1 year to 5 year terms.

Volunteer Boards
Residents interested in volunteering their time and experience to one of these boards can submit an application on the Middletown Citizen Leadership Form. The Township Clerk maintains applications submitted for these appointed positions. A resolution is needed for all official appointments made to the Boards and Commissions.
