Summertime brings the famed and requested Summer Concerts at Normandy Park, brought to you by the Middletown Township Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Affairs department in coordination with the Arts Council. Learning About Coyotes: DEP Public Education Session
Filmed at the new Middletown Arts Center on June 20th 2007, speaker and Wildlife Management Biologist for the NJDEP Division of Fish & Wildlife, Anthony McBride, conducted a detailed information seminar on coyote behavior, identification, and life cycle. This program is also designated to advise all residents of the best ways to protect themselves, their families, pets, livestock, and property from possible coyote encounters in our area.
Rude Awakening Documentary
Narrated by Patrolman James Roese, The Rude Awakening Documentary, filmed at various locations, offers an inside view of the Rude Awakening program as a whole, from the planning & coordinating stages to the engagement of highschool students and adults alike, in an effort to discourage drunk and/or drugged driving and encourage safe choices when getting behind the wheel. On October 6, 2007, The Rude Awakening Program was recognized by the International Association of Chiefs of Police at a conference in New Orleans.
Your Town, Your Schools
Filmed and presented monthly by the Middletown Township School System, the Your Town, Your Schools series, hosted by Interim Superintendent Karen Bilbao, aims to showcase some of the development and happenings that make the Middletown School System one of the best.
