CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
COMMUNITY ART SHOWS ANNOUNCED

The Middletown Art Shows will have new formats this year as we partner with the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs to feature work of local artists at the Arts Center.  The line-up began with the annual Youth Art Show, March 1-9, open to township children ages 8 – 12 and 13 – 17 (or High School Seniors.)  The Professional Artist’s Show will follow on April 5 – 13.  For the purpose of this exhibit, artists are considered professionals if they sell their work.  For the first time, photographers will have a separate show running from April 3 – 11, 2008.  The photography show will accept entries from both professional and amateur photographers as well as from youth photographers. A digital arts category will be included in the exhibit.  Last, but certainly not least, the Community Art Shows will end with an Amateur Artists Show from May 31 –  June 8.   Call for details and entry deadlines after January 1st.

ARTS COUNCIL ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF THE TALENT SHOWCASE
