Port of Belford Project

Middletown Township has completed an Economic Feasibility Study and Conceptual Development Plan for the Port of Belford. The Plan resulted from a comprehensive planning analysis of the economic and physical viability of commercial development at the Port of Belford that complements and supports the established commercial fishing industry.

Key components of the Plan include:

Analysis of Existing Conditions
Market & Development Feasibility Analysis
Conceptual Development Plan
Implementation Strategies

The Louis Berger Group prepared this Plan for the Township in association with professionals from Rutgers University and Brookdale Community College. Grant funds from the New Jersey Office of Smart Growth provided the resources for plan development.
