Codification of Ordinances
Codification is the process of collecting and restating the law of a jurisdiction in certain areas, usually by subject, forming a legal code.
Upon formal adoption of an Ordinance the Township Clerk forwards the ordinance to the Townships Codification vendor who produces an amendment to the Township Code books to include the new ordinance. The Township Code Book is updated every six months and is available for review in the Middletown Free Public Library and Township Clerkâs Office during regular business hours.
