One Ton of Donated Supplies Are
Shipped to Iraq!
THANK YOU MIDDLETOWN!

One ton of supplies were donated by Middletown!
This is just a small sample of everything we received.

Office of Emergency Management volunteer Joe Basket and his fellow members packed everything into boxes.

Mayor Scharfenberger visited our busy OEM team during the packing party. From left: Front Row: Bob Busch, OEM Coordinator Charles W. Rogers III, Bill Joel, Mayor Gerard P. Scharfenberger, and Operations Chief Charles Ehret. Back Row:  Bill Reynolds, OEM Shelter Coordinator Cathy Rogers, Dan Newman, Joe Basket, Herb Caravella, Ken Maggio, Madelyn Calabrese, Mark Kennedy, Charles Weber, Jim Bruncati, Theresa Santiago, and Tom Stokes.

Thanks to OEM's Efforts a wall of boxes was ready to be transported by Midletown's Parks Recreation Dept. to the Leonardo Post Office.

VFW Post 2179 Vice Commander Charles Gallapher and VFW Commander joined Deputy Mayor Pam Brightbill at post office to donate the shipping costs.

Parks and Recreation workers helped Judy from the Leonardo Post Office weigh and measure every box.

THANK YOU MIDDLETOWN
