Middletown Township has adopted Charlie Company, lst Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 82d Airborne Division thanks to the help of American Supporting Americans, a non-profit organziation that links military units with communities across the nation.

Commander Michael Donahue and his First Sgt. Stephen Smith came to Middletown visit us in May before leaving for Iraq this Spring. Their visit including meeting local VFW post No 2179 and attending a Township Committee meeting.

Charlie Company includes 59 paratroopers who provide communications to their fellow soldiers. They will be serving in Iraq for 15 months. Middletown has begun to collect care pacakge items to send to them while they are so far away from home. Visit the links to the right to find out how you can help Support the Troops!
