1. Administration

    The Department of Inspections provides for cooperative inspection and enforcement of all Construction Codes relating to the construction, maintenance, use and occupancy of buildings and structures.

  3. Crossroads

    Crossroads is a New Jersey Licensed Facility that provides alcohol and drug abuse services to all Middletown residents.

  4. Emergency Management

    Emergency Management is responsible for the township's all-hazard Emergency Operations Plan.

  5. Emergency Medical Services

    Middletown's Emergency Medical Service Department consists of 5 all-volunteer first aid squads.

  6. Finance

    The Department of Finance oversees the operations of Finance, Tax Collection, Tax Assessing and Purchasing.

  7. Fire Department

    The Middletown Township Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department comprised of 11 fire companies, 5 chief officers, special services, air unit, fire police, field communications and fire academy. The departments strength is well over 500 personnel, of which 350 are active firefighters.

  8. Fire Prevention

    The primary responsibility of the Fire Official is the enforcement of the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code and other local fire safety regulations.

    The Health Department oversees Public Health Issues, Environmental Concerns, Animal Control, Substance Abuse Services and Social Services.

    The Assessor's Office is responsible for retaining all data that may reflect either the value or ownership of all property located in the Middletown Township.
